2023. "Run for Morocco" Marathon
On September 23, 2023, 45 international students from GIA Minerva Baccalaureate participated in the Park Love Marathon held at Sindorim Station in Seoul to raise funds for recovery from the Morocco earthquake and to raise awareness of the Morocco earthquake.
GIA 12th grade student council presidents Eun-kyeol Kim(female) and Hyun-min Park(male) successfully completed the 3-4 hour marathon while encouraging students in grades 7-11. Student council presidents Eun-kyeol Kim and Hyun-min Park, along with Chairman Mung-hwa Lee, participated in the marathon wearing (Run For Morocco) t-shirts to support the recovery from the Morocco earthquake and spread more awareness among the people.
Student Council President Hyun-min Park said,“I hope that participating the marathon will help with the recovery from the Morocco earthquake.”
Student Council President Eun-kyeol Kim said, “I am glad that international students can work together to help recover from the Morocco earthquake.”
